Actor Shabana Azmi, who celebrates her birthday on September 18, has stated that her street accident in January was a ‘close shave’. The actor was concerned in an accident on the Mumbai-Pune expressway.

Her husband, lyricist and author Javed Akhtar, in an April interview to Film Companion, had spoken about his preliminary emotions after Shabana’s accident.
